Going Back to Work


When my husband told me about the Women in Management conference hosted by his graduate program, I enthusiastically marked my calendar and hit “send” on my $20 registration fee. Even though going back to work was off the table for me, I still wanted to go to the conference. This was my effort to preserve some semblance of my eroding professionalism in my daily grind of diapers, play-dates, and the occasional to frequent temper tantrums. Continue reading
